Beckhams become billionaires as Oasis make rich list for first time

It’s official: the Beckhams have joined the billionaire club. David and Victoria’s combined fortune has tipped past the £1 billion mark, landing them a spot in this year’s Sunday Times Rich List and cementing their status as one of Britain’s most financially formidable couples.

The pair’s wealth has been built across decades of relentless brand-building. David’s co-ownership of Inter Miami CF has proved particularly lucrative, especially since a certain Lionel Messi arrived in Florida and sent the club’s value soaring. Victoria, meanwhile, has quietly turned her fashion label into a genuinely respected luxury brand, no longer the punchline it once was in certain corners of the fashion press.

Together, their estimated net worth now sits at around £1.1 billion, up sharply from recent years. Not bad for a lad from Leytonstone and a girl from Hertfordshire.

But the Beckhams aren’t the only familiar faces making headlines in this year’s list. Oasis, or more specifically Liam and Noel Gallagher, have made their debut on the Rich List following the band’s much-hyped reunion announcement. The brothers, who famously couldn’t be in the same room for the better part of fifteen years, have reportedly seen their combined fortunes boosted significantly by the sheer commercial momentum of the comeback, with ticket sales, merchandise, and licensing deals all contributing to the surge.

Noel’s net worth is estimated at around £70 million, with Liam not far behind. The reunion tour, which sent fans into a frenzy when it was announced last year, has already generated hundreds of millions in revenue across the UK and Ireland alone.

The Rich List remains, as ever, a curious snapshot of who Britain rewards and how. Rockstars, footballers, fashion entrepreneurs; the line between celebrity and serious business has never been blurrier.

What’s perhaps most striking is how both stories reflect a broader shift. Fame alone doesn’t build these fortunes anymore. It’s the ownership stakes, the brand equity, the long game. The Beckhams clearly understood that early. The Gallaghers, it seems, are catching up.

Whether Liam and Noel can hold things together long enough to capitalise fully on the reunion remains, of course, the great unanswered question.
